Dr. Lisa Nam - Certified Specialist in Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Lisa (Hye In) Nam is a pediatric dentist delighted to bring her gentle care and friendly chairside manner to young patients. With her extensive understanding of children’s oral health and developmental needs, she offers all phases of dental care, including restorative dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, and preventive services.

Dr. Lisa graduated with a Bachelor of Science in the Honours Physiology, and a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of British Columbia. She then completed her general practice and pediatric dentistry residencies at a Level-1 Trauma centre, St. Barnabas Hospital, in New York. There, she trained in medically-complex patient management and treatment under sedation and general anesthesia. Before moving back to Canada, she practiced in multi-specialty dental clinics in Manhattan, New York.

She is certified to provide Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Outside of her practice of dentistry, Dr. Lisa enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and daughter and eating good foods.
